The Lunar New Year Event (2012) is an Event in CityVille. It started on January 10, 2012 with the release of the Red Envelope Store. During the event, a number of Chinese themed items were released to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Several items were also re-released from the previous year's event. See also: Lunar New Year Event (2011). The following businesses will also receive extra bonuses from this event's decorations: Fireworks Shop, City Dojo, and Noodle Shop.
