Levels are stages you reach as you progress through the game. Most actions you undertake award XP (Experience) and it is this which progresses you towards your next level. As you reach new levels, new items and goals are unlocked and, in the earlier levels, your maximum capacity for energy increases.

There is also a random chance of winning XP in Gifts, the maximum XP reward being 200XP.
