The Hotel is a special feature in CityVille. It is like a business but includes the ability to invite neighbors to check into the hotel rooms and gives out rewards for upgrading to a higher floor or VIP suite.

The Resort Hotel requires a supply of 500 goods. Collecting from it earns 2,500 coins, which gives it an efficiency of 5 coins per good.

Note: Once you name your Hotel, you can not change the name, so make sure there aren't any typos and that you like the name.

Collecting and SupplyingEdit

After the Hotel is built and ready, the order of actions goes roughly like this:

• Supply any nearby businesses with the Hotel's circle of influence to attract guests (shopping malls are excluded).
• Supply nearby businesses, then unload a cruise ship for a quick increase
• Invite friends to increase guests faster.
• Once the Hotel has reached its capacity, it will become 'closed'.
• Click on it again and the guest will begin to wander, spending more money on any open business or attraction.
• Supply the Hotel with  500 Goods (not  0 Premium Goods) to begin the cycle again.

HistoryEdit

Since 9 June 2011, a construction crane appears near the river that separates the city from the town beach. The crane appears when the bridge is finished.

On 11 July 2011, a sneak-peak picture of the Hotel feature came out in the CityVille's official Facebook Page. It notifies citizens to stock up Sunglasses for both the City Port, and something else that wasn't explained.

On 15 July 2011, Zynga released several new decorations and a new business that are unlocked after completing the Hotel Questline. The decorations only provide bonus payouts to hotels. Also on 15 July 2011 there are some new gifts available. A Luggage Cart, Bathrobe, Satin Pillow, Beach Towel and Toiletries.
