The Downtown Holiday Restaurant is a 4×4 branded business in CityVille for a limited time. It was released on December 8, 2011 during a holiday promotion with McDonald's. This business is available to purchase until December 27, 2011. Although it is still available in the build menu, a player can only buy one.
If you have a Burger Restaurant (previously McDonald's Restaurant) from the previous promotion, it will be transformed into a Downtown Holiday Restaurant and you won't have to purchase a new one.
At the start of this promotion, there was a glitch where the Mastery Bar was missing above the transformed version and the workaround required players to remove it and build a new one from the Build Menu.
A player can earn the Arch Light, by mastering the business by January 3, 2012. Mastering this business requires 50 supplies, but unlike other business upgrades, no friends can help in the process.
This business cannot be placed in a mall or renamed.
After the promotion ends, the Downtown Holiday Restaurant will lose its logo brand and change to a generic business.
The Downtown Holiday Restaurant has an efficiency of 5 coins per good.
