Collections are special groups of items(see collectibles) that when collected and traded in, give out special rewards.

Usually collectibles have a 3% chance of dropping when money is being collected from a building (Businesses or Housing) or when crops are harvested. There are a few exceptions:

• Fried Tomatoes in the Tomato Collection has a 20% drop rate.
• Danish in the Just Desserts Collection has a 13% drop rate.
• The following have a 5% drop rate:
  • Comic Books and Toy Robot from the Game Collection,
  • Soda from the Fast Food Collection,
  • Bacon and Eggs and Toast in the Comfort Food Collection, and
  • Hot Dog in the Silver Screen Collection.
• Each of the Go Kart Collection and Lunch at McDonald's Collection items has a 10% drop rate.
• Each of the Henchmen Collection and Super Villains Collection items has a 100% drop rate.
• Each of the Doggie Rescue Collection items has a 100% drop rate when rescuing a Doggie and a 20% drop rate when collecting rent from The Dog House.
• Each of the Horse Racing Collection items has a 20% drop rate.
• Each of the Honeymoon Hotel Collection items have a 20% drop rate.

Many of these collection items are required to finish goals. There is also a chance of acquiring these collectibles by putting them on your wishlist and opening a mystery gift or clicking a neighbor's train wall post.
