The City Port is a 4x8 sized community building available in CityVille for players  Level 20+. It is used to dock cruise ships to bring tourists to your city. Each City Port includes one Little Liner.

As of January 13, 2012, the City Port can be bought from the Build Menu for  1000 Coins and can be upgraded.

DescriptionEdit

"They pay out lots of coins and bring tourists who speed up businesses! Complete the 'Unlock Cruise Ship' goal to get cruisin'!"

ConstructionEdit

When choosing a place to build it, keep in mind the port needs a 4x8 area to build in. The placement grid only shows a 4x4 area for the port however, the 4' dock increases it size to 4x8. It needs to be placed along the shoreline similar to how piers are, and costs  7 Energy to build.

Original City PortEdit

The original City Port is free to place from the  Unlock Cruise Ships! Goal. This City Port required these materials:

•  8× Deck Chair or  6 Cash each
•  8× Sunglasses or  6 Cash each
•  8× Visor or  6 Cash each
•  2× 2x4 or  5 Cash each
•  2× Whistle or  4 Cash each

Selling the City Port causes it to go back into your inventory for 0 coins and does not reset the cruise ship timer.

UpgradesEdit

Upgrading a City Port will extend the dock and accommodate more Cruise Ships. To upgrade, the following materials and tasks are required.

Level 2Edit

6' Dock allows more cruise ships and more tourists. This level will unlock the  Deluxe Cruiser.

• Visiting your neighbors or exiting the game causes any unloaded tourists in your city to disappear.

• The City Port does not increase your storage capacity like piers do.
